Window Shopping!

Those who are a fan of my travelogues, please stick with me, this is not a full-throttle fashion blog. Geez, I will not capitalize on writing fashion articles simply because I'm not a fashion cookie, I don't fit in the F-world, and Fashion is Poison. Ops, Fashion is Poison is actually a very famous blog browsed by a lot of blog-readers. If you haven't visited this site yet, please DO SO, it's like browsing a Vogue, Cosmopolitan, or UNO magazine.

Another thing, this is not a shopping blog. I neither have the sponsors nor the money to squander on clothes, jewelry, and high-end shoes and purses. Let's confess that every woman loves shopping, but once you're hooked into it, there's no way out. I hear you screaming "help, the merchandisers cleared-out my bank account!" Poor thing. Hence, the smartest way to deal with reckless spending is to avoid spending at all. What? Okay, at least try. There's no harm trying.

So, when you look at something in the window of a store but can't really afford to buy it, you are...? you got it, window shopping! Sing it. "How much is that doggy in the window, arf-arf". No problem, take a picture of the item instead (like what we, professional window shoppers do). At least you got it in your camera. Window shoppers, raise your hands. (I've been raising mine while writing).

Cheer up people! This is still the same travel blog that tours you and takes you around the world. So, shall we board?

Our destination for today is Ala Moana Center. You've been here with me twice but I don't think I showed you Ala Moana's extravagant stores yet. For the pocket, they're not worth blogging, but for the eyes, maybe they are. This is for shopaholics who can and cannot afford over-priced merchandise.

In my previous blog entries, never did I pay attention nor write anything about my outfit. This thing doesn't whip up my interest. To reveal the truth, I don't really care about what I wear as long as they're decent. I usually buy clothes that have dual purpose. Clothes that I can wear both in the church and in school. Today, I'm in the mood to dress up and be in style. Got my Coach and Louis Vuitton bag which took me ages before finally being able to afford them.

Above Photos: Mont Blanc, Burberry, and Brighton. I never purchased anything from these stores. They're trendy and their products are in "good quality" but also very pricey. Hey, how many times did I mention (over) price (y) here? Hush, this word is redundant.

It's APPLE time. Once you go Mac, you'll never go back. This year's Fall Promo is great, but I believe Mac is still overpriced if they are targeting university students. The cheapest Mac you can buy is the 13.3" White Macbook for $949.00. It comes with a $299 I-Pod, which they throw for free when you buy a Mac. So that makes the tiny Macbook cost $650.00. Urgh, still expensive! Little HP costs $320.

Well, I have until September to save money. I'm looking for something light and easy-to-grab notebook. You think apple would be an ideal candidate for it? We'll see when the time comes.

You know a lot about Neiman Marcus, the most expensive giant store in Ala Moana. It will dig a hole in your pocket. If you are smart, you'd only come here in December, when all their stocks are on-sale, and they're actually selling gift-items at an affordable price.

Already, I really have to go now. Too many appointments tomorrow. See you soon. Remember, Life is Beautiful. Let's ignore people who constantly pull us down, we have more important business than entertaining their insecurities, inanities, selfishness, and narrow-mindedness. Life is wonderful. Life is great! Ignore the Demons around. They're not worth our attention AT ALL!

Hey there Zara: Thanks for the info. I only know little of Jimmy Choo (aside from the fact that he's chinese).

Jasper: Indulge? You're speaking like Mei-wah in her blog called Indulgence. Yes, I have the will power to control myself. BTW, congrats on the result of your test.

Eunice: It's kinda expensive to shop over here though. I prefer shopping in Asia. Either Hong Kong or the Philippines.

Barbie: HI cutie, welcome back. Yes, I'm having a wonderful time. But life sometimes is hard and I just smile at it.

Little Gem: Where are you located at? Yes, the view is gorgeous!

I love the butterflies at Neiman Marcus. We don't have that gorgeous scenery here. So sad :(
