Witch November

Photobucket

It's November, watch out! The witches are all over. When you walk down the streets of Waikiki, you'll see more creatures of the underworld. Don't be afraid, they won't hurt you. But they will stand beside you and give you that "thousand-yard stare". OooOoH! Distancia amigo! If you get close to them, they'll scratch & bite you.

Weeeh, happy Halloween you guys! Did you enjoy the Trick or Treat? How about the Midnight Madness? What costume did you wear? Did you hang out with your friends? I did, and I enjoyed every bit of it. This is the first time I'm celebrating Halloween in Waikiki, so let's go and see what goes around when the sun's down. Awoooh!

That's Yoshiko San wearing pink panther, and that's me wearing, uhm... nevermind. At first, I didn't recognize her. While we were talking on the phone, looking for each other, I didn't realize that I already passed in front of her. Weird right? We've known each other for so long now and still couldn't identify one another from the crowd. Well, just look at her. See for yourself if she's still that Yoshiko San you occassionally see on my blog.

This guy below needs a "bail-out". Can somebody bail him out of jail? His halloween costume is so unique. I said "pst", and he looked at me instantly. So I snapped this photo right away. Not bad eh?

Would you be so kind to put your head back where it belongs? Okay now, it's time to tell a story. On my way to school, a little kid came up to me and tried to scare me by giving me a "bloodcurdling" look. It's funny because he was very serious but instead of being scared, I laughed so hard. Haha, kiddo, you won't scare me. Poor thing, he didn't accomplish his mission for the evening. But it was a good try!

Later, I saw another kid skating on the street with his friends. You know what's weird? They all put paper bags on their head. My goodness! I have never seen some brainless kids skating on a public street with bags on their head. Talk about being "stupid". They think this idea is cool? Well, I hope they won't give their parents some trouble later. Hey, why not let this nun below discipline them. Wait, why is she pregnant? Disregard the gypsy woman.

Okay, let's go find more creepy creatures roaming around Waikiki. It's very crowded here you know. If you each go separate ways, you will never find your friends again. Gladly, we're all holding hands while walking. Yeah, aka HHWW. So what, we're all female, ha!

Let's not waste any of our time now. Waikiki is so big and there are a lot of people who participated in this halloween madness. As Yoshiko said, it's a "clazy, clazy" evening. So let's enjoy. Vamos!

I didn't know you can wear any costume comes Halloween. I thought you need to look like a ghost, monster, witch or devil. But oh no. A lot of people dressed up like Snow white and the seven dwarfs, Cinderella and Pocahontas. Some even looked like Cleopatra, Wizard of Oz, Bumble Bee, and South Park, (yes, that annoying alien cartoon character you see on TV). In fact, you can be anyone.

So I thought a black dress would be enough. But next time, I'll put a hat on so I will look like a witch, hihi! Now, let's take more photos.

Did I tell you yet that it gets cold in November? Well, technically, it's still the 31st of October, but the weather here feels like November and I'm cold. I'm glad Waikiki is crowded. It makes you feel the heat.

It turns out, for every four to five updates a month, I'm only doing one, so please bear with me. I'm really loaded with a lot of papers to write. I have to go back writing now. Ciao bellas!

I don't know what I will dress up for Halloween. Never celebrate it in this part of the region.

This is a great blog you have here! I have a travel blog myself which I hope it to be one of the top resources for those looking for experiences and advice on popular vacation destinations.

I'd like us to do a link exchange to help spread some traffic around to each other. This message is copied/pasted to save time, but I look at each site I submit a comment to.

Please let me know if this is possible.
